The part of Frieze that costs nothing is also the part that lasts seven weeks. Frieze Sculpture puts large works out in the open in The Regent's Park, and the gate is the park gate.
Frieze Sculpture 2026 dates
16 September to 1 November 2026, in the English Gardens of The Regent's Park.
What Frieze Sculpture costs
Nothing. It is an outdoor public exhibition in a royal park.
Who is in it
The 14th edition, curated by Fatoş Üstek for the fourth year, with eleven international artists — among them Angel Otero, Conrad Shawcross, Tarini Sethi and Ivana Bašić.
Tours
A programme of free curator-led tours runs in September and November, starting at the St. Andrew's Gate entrance.
The dates are the useful part. Frieze Sculpture opens on 16 September and the fair does not start until 14 October, which means there are four weeks when the works are up and the park is empty — and another fortnight after the tents come down. Going in fair week is going on the two busiest days of the seven weeks for no reason. The other thing worth knowing is that the English Gardens are a small part of a very large park: it is a twenty-minute walk from the Regent's Park tube, and St. Andrew's Gate is the entrance that puts you in the middle of it.
