The free one. Three days in half term, in the middle of Hyde Park, and the scariest thing in it is a box you put your hand into without looking.
Hair Raising Halloween 2026 dates and times

What is on at Hair Raising Halloween
Feely boxes in the Witches' Den, a hair-raising nature trail with facts along the way, and a session on the bats that live in the Royal Parks. Spooky storytelling runs at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm; everything else is continuous through the day.
Practicalities
Dressing up is encouraged. The site is fully enclosed with accessible grounds and toilets. The Royal Parks ask for no more than three children per adult, and only assistance dogs can come in. At peak times there is a queue, and there are activities laid on outside the Learning Centre for children waiting.
This is the half-term afternoon that costs nothing, which is exactly why it queues — the storytelling slots at twelve, one and two are the busiest half-hours of each day. Arriving at eleven, or after two, is the difference between doing everything and doing one thing. The Lookout is a walk in from every gate, so allow for it: this is central London geographically and a fifteen-minute walk in practice.
