Hyde Park Winter Wonderland 2026

Six weeks, one park, and a number that does more work than any of the marketing around it: £1. Winter Wonderland opens on 19 November 2026 and closes on 3 January 2027, and this year the organisers have put half a million off-peak entry tickets at a pound apiece — every Monday to Thursday throughout November.

The dates and the scale

19 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, in Hyde Park, with more than 150 attractions, rides and shows across the site, plus food, drink and live entertainment. Entry is by timed slot, and the organisers describe the entry sessions as selling out.

What it costs to get in

Three things are worth separating. Entry is the ticket that gets you through the gate; rides and attractions are paid on top; and booking in advance is cheaper than arriving — the site advertises up to 25% off when you book in advance and no additional booking fees at checkout. The £1 off-peak slots apply Monday to Thursday in November. New for 2026

Two things are named. Gandeys K-Pop Dragon Circus is new this year, and the Magical Ice Kingdom takes the theme Escape to Neverland, in partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. The packages and ride passes have been rebuilt as well — the site describes reimagined packages and brand new ride passes that bundle rides into a single ticket.

How to think about the pricing

Because entry and rides are priced separately, the cheapest way in and the cheapest day out are not the same ticket. A £1 November weekday slot is the cheapest way to see the site; the £25-spend offer is the cheapest way to see it and use it. Neither is peak weekend in December, when the entry slots are the ones that go first.

The mistake most people make here is treating the entry ticket as the price of the day. It is not: entry gets you the site, and everything inside it — rides, the ice rink, the circus — is bought separately, which is why a £1 ticket and a £100 evening are the same event. Two consequences. If you are going to spend anyway, the £25-spend-and-enter-free booking is strictly better than paying for entry and buying the same things inside. And if you are not, a November weekday at £1 is the version of Winter Wonderland that is genuinely cheap — the same lights, the same stalls, and a park you can walk across.
