The London Transport Museum's Lates turn the galleries into somewhere to spend an evening, and at Halloween the evening is a silent disco: headphones on, among the buses, trams and Underground carriages of the collection, on Saturday 31 October 2026.
Two sessions
6.30pm to 9pm, or 9.30pm to midnight. Each is its own ticket, so choose before booking.
The music
DJs on several platforms at once, and you choose whom to listen to: singalong hits from the 80s, 90s and 2000s across three channels, and a channel of indie from Propaganda, the club night behind the event with Silent Disco King. There is also a ghoulish craft table for anyone who would rather make something than dance.
Tickets and the small print
Over-18s only. Early bird tickets were £25 and first release £27.50; a carer or companion goes free. If any are left on the night, they are sold at the museum's ticket desk. Tickets cannot be refunded but can be passed to someone else. There is a paid bar and no food.
Elsewhere on the night
For Halloween higher up, Sky Garden's Dance of the Dead is thirty-five floors over the City on the same Saturday, and the giant beetle of Halloween at Leadenhall Market is free to see until 1 November.
The two sessions are not the same evening at different hours. The early one ends at nine, which suits anyone with a dinner, a second party or a last train to think of; the late one runs to midnight and is the one for people who came to dance rather than to look round the buses. Book the session, not the night — and a ticket that cannot be refunded can still be given to a friend.
