Sky Garden is the glasshouse on top of 20 Fenchurch Street, the building Londoners call the Walkie-Talkie, and for two nights this Halloween it becomes a party: Dance of the Dead, on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October 2026.
Dates, times and tickets
Standing tickets were sold by arrival slot: 6.30 to 9.30pm, 8.45 to 10.45pm or 9.30 to 10.45pm, at £35 a head on Sky Garden's own page and £38.50 on DesignMyNight. By 25 October they had sold out.
Two ways in are left. A bar table, booked through Sky Garden Bars, comes with party access and a £25-a-head minimum spend on food and drink. Or book dinner at Darwin Brasserie or Fenchurch Restaurant, Sky Garden's two restaurants, and the party comes free. Sky Garden says bar tables are limited too.
Last entry on Fridays and Saturdays is at midnight, and the music runs until 2am.
What the ticket buys
A welcome cocktail, a Dead Man's Finger; two live sets from ALR Music; a DJ; and the view, which is the reason anyone climbs this high on a Saturday night. Fancy dress is encouraged. A bar-table booking lists the same live sets and DJ, but not the cocktail.
Before you go
It is 18+, with physical photo ID. The dress code is smart casual (no sportswear, flip-flops, shorts or football shirts), which a costume can satisfy if it tries. The venue is cashless, the kitchen takes its last orders at 10pm, and the open-air terrace shuts at 6pm, so the view is from behind glass.
The garden is naturally ventilated, so dress for late October rather than for a nightclub. Sky Garden also warns that a lift out of service has reduced its capacity and that some visitors may not get in at their booked time: aim for the start of your slot, not the end.
Elsewhere in the City that week
Two streets away, Leadenhall Market has a 4.5-metre light-up beetle under its Victorian roof until 1 November, free; by day, the Tower of London does ghosts until 4pm.
Or with headphones
In Covent Garden on the Saturday, the London Transport Museum's Halloween silent disco puts its DJs among the old buses and trams, in two sessions until midnight.
The slot is the decision that matters. The early one, from 6.30pm, catches the last of the light over the river and the room before it fills; the two later ones are the party proper, and with last entry at midnight they are also the ones a reduced capacity at the lifts will squeeze. Book the evening you want, then arrive at the front of your window.
